Traditional music, song and dance weekend for Fossa

THERE will be a traditional music, song and dance weekend at the Travel Inn in Fossa on November 14-15 and all are invited to join in or simply listen.

The weekend is organised by Ceolta Feasa, a traditional music song and dance group comprising of members of three South Tipperary branches of Comhaltas: Powerstown Clonmel, Cahir and Newcastle.

This will be their fourth visit to Fossa and they have been doing an annual summer seisiún programme back in Clonmel which is sponsored by Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann.

"We are looking forward to meeting local organiser Mick Myers and staff at The Travel Inn, as well all musicians and Fossa Comhaltas members who join in each year," Ceolta Feasa's Michael Harty said.

Also this year, Ceolta Feasa will be performing an afternoon session at Kate Kearney's Cottage on the Saturday, November 16, starting at 1.30pm.
