AN evening of uplifting music and song is assured at the Kerry Choral Union's 'Musical Celebration of Spring' gala concert in aid of local multiple sclerosis support organisations.

The concert, which will also feature the Kerry Union's Junior Choir will take place in the Church of the Resurrection in Killarney on Sunday, March 10, and will benefit Killarney/South Kerry and Tralee/West Kerry Multiple Sclerosis groups.

According to Chairperson of the Kerry Choral Union Heather O'Sullivan, a great evening's entertainment in aid of worthy cause lies in store.

"It is a really worthwhile charity as multiple sclerosis is really under supported," Heather told The Kerryman this week. "It's down to local people to support people with MS and depending on where you are it's really a lottery for people with the condition."

"We're going to bring over the Kerry Choral Union and our Junior Choir, for whom it will be their first time performing in Killarney. It's going to be a beautiful concert, and the repertoire is fabulous.

"There will be anything and everything from classical music, to sacred music and soloists. It will be a stunning night – for a good cause and a great night's entertainment," added Heather.

Donations can be made on the night but tickets or donations can be made in advance in St John's Pastoral Centre in Tralee or from the Church of the Resurrection in Killarney.
