KERRY will be represented in six disciplines at the upcoming Munster finals of Scór na nOg after more impressive performances at the semi-final of the competition at the weekend.
The Kingdom had a very successful afternoon at Millstreet's Community Centre on Sunday, competing against clubs from Limerick and Cork, with four clubs securing their place in the Munster finals due to take place in Mallow later this month.
The competitions proved an exceptionally fruitful one for Spa GAA club, who qualified in three categories: figure dancing, recitation and set dancing. Also booking their place in the provincial round of the competition were Fossa's instrumental music group, Na nGael's novelty act and with Keel's ballad group.
There was bitter disappointment however for Ballymac's Orla Keane who, despite giving an excellent performance in the solo singing competition, failed to progress.
Those who qualified for the Munster finals will now compete at Mallow Youth Centre on Sunday, January 26 at 2pm.
