Ray launches 'On The Rocks'
AUTHOR Ray Keane launched his new book 'On The Rocks' at The Killarney Park Hotel on Saturday evening and he took time out from his book signing to have a cup of coffee and a chat with local man Sham Courtney on the night.
Originally from Carlow, Ray has been living in Killarney since 2009 and after years of being self-employment he took a friend's advice and decided to devote his time to writing. He hasn't looked back since.
This is his first novel and follows the story of a Ballinasloe taxi driver who drinks heavily, gambles and gets separated from his wife.
A womaniser, the character gets involved in money laundering and then the drugs business which sees him travel to Morocco and Nice, becoming a milionaire in the process.
Ray has plans for further novels and hopes to follow 'On The Rocks' with 'The Dealership' and 'The Boys in Blue'.
