THE hugely-talented Tralee-based band Oracle have just put the finishing touches on their latest album which they're preparing to unveil to an eager public earlier next month.
Oracle which includes core members Noel McAuliffe, Shane Murphy, Leonard Casey and Martin Hurley, some of Tralee and north Kerry's best known and most talented musicians, have been beavering away in the recording studios all summer on their new album Our Take 2.
The album, a collection of covers which also includes a new Oracle composition, was completed just last week and with finishing touches being put at the moment it is expected to be available to buy early next month.
Oracle, and their many musical collaborators from across Kerry, will unveil the new album at a special gig in Knocknagoshel on November 9 with a large contingent of their loyal Tralee fans expected to make the journey to hear the fruit of the band's latest labours.
Our Take follows on from Oracle's last, widely acclaimed, album which was released last year. They have since gone on to play sell out gigs at the National Concert Hall in Dublin and they were one of the headline acts at this year's Rose of Tralee Festival, entertaining thousands on Denny Street.
