ARE the Beale GAA club ready for their hilarious annual pantomime? Oh yes they are!
It's that time of the year again as locals in Ballybunion gear up for Beale GAA Club's third annual pantomime, which this year is a very special production of "Jacques and the Beanstalk". Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Beale Development Fund.
"The show is looking great, it's hilarious. Everyone who features in the play is involved with the GAA club in some way and we have all the usual local favourites to keep in touch with our local theme, plus some new faces too", organiser Mairéad O'Neill said.
This year, some of the proceeds from the show will go to the Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue, which Ms O'Neill believes is a very worthy cause.
"The Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue are always in need of funding for the wonderful work that they do, and we're delighted to be able to support them. Everyone is welcome as there will be something for all the family, such as a raffle and even more entertainment during the interval. It's an event that's not to be missed, and all support is greatly appreciated", Ms O'Neill said.
'Jacques and the Beanstalk' will be held at the Tinteán Theatre, Ballybunion from February 8 - 9 at 7.30pm each night. Tickets prices are: Adults €10, Children €5, Family €25, and special concessions will be available for students and senior citizens.
