National schools gear up for Irish drama festival

Tá gach rud eaghraithe le haghaidh Fhéile an Oileáin san 'Ivy Leaf' ar an Aoine seo chugainn.

Ceithre scoil a bheidh ar an stáitse agus cúrsaí ag tosnú ar a seacht a chlog. Taispeántas atá i gceist agus beidh deich ngradham le bronnadh ag na beirt mholtóir. Is amharclann iontach í an Ivy Leaf, an-oiriúnach i gcomhair gach saghas ócáide go háirithe coirmeacha agus drámaí.

Seo an tríú uair a d'eagraigh an coiste an fhéile seo agus í ag dul ó neart go neart. Is iad na scoileanna atá ag glacadh páirt na ; Scairteach an Ghleanna, Caisleán na Mainge, Scoil Mhuire na Cúlach agus Gaelscoil Aogáin.

Everything is set for the Irish drama festival for national schools at the Ivy Leaf next Friday night.

The programme of events will get underway at 7pm. Four schools will be taking part. This is not a competition but awards will presented for different aspects of the group's performances by the two adjudicators.

The Ivy Leaf is a very suitable venue for this type of event. This is the third occasion that this event has been organized and it is going from strength to strength. The four schools taking part are: Scartaglin, Castlemaine, Cordal and Gaelscoil Aogáin.
