THE Tralee Wetlands Centre is to host a afternoon of Christmas food, fashion and fun next month to raise money for the Kare4 Kidz charity and the Donal Walsh LiveLife foundation.
Details were announced on Monday of the forthcoming "Christmas at the Wetlands' in the Tralee Bay Wetlands Centre, which takes place on Wednesday December 11, will involves a drinks reception, Christmas dinner, a fashion show and disco.
The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 7.30pm followed by festive themed fare with wine.
There will also be a Salon Styled Fashion Show, produced by Kerry based model agency Upfront Model Management, featuring clothes from local designers, milliners and boutiques.
The hair and make up on the evening will be created by the team at the Gemma Knightly Private Beauty College and will showcase the latest trends of the season. DJ Ray Stack will be on hand to MC the night and host the after-party and disco.
Guests are being invited to dress to impress as the best dressed lady on the night will win a head piece from Rebekah Wall Millinery.
There will also be a prize for the best dressed man and, thanks to the generosity and support of local businesses, there will also be lots of raffle and spot prizes throughout the evening.
