GAELSCOIL Mhic Easmainn will host its annual Christmas Fair this Sunday, December 8, in the school hall.

The annual fundraising event will see the school's staff, pupils and parents manning stalls selling all manner of home made food, festive goodies and Christmas decorations and gifts.

Among the many items on sale will be Christmas cakes and Christmas wreaths that have been made by the schoolchildren. There will also be many items on sale that have been donated by local businesses. All money raised will go towards the school fund which is used to supply educational materials for pupils and to help with day to day running costs.

The fair will run in the school hall from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday afternoon. Santa will be in attendance and there will be a number of spot prizes and raffles held throughout the day.

"As always everything on sale will be excellent value and great quality and would make a fantastic Christmas gift for friends and family or a lovely personal treat," said sixth class teacher Declan Quill.
