IT'S a long way to Tipperary.
So here's hoping the Fealeside Players take the motorway from Cork to Cahir, to shorten the trip, ahead of a special performance of Moll in the Tipp town on Thursday night.
The new actors brought the John B Keane comedy to packed houses in St John's all week and are now to treat a Tipperary audience to it all as well. They perform at the Kilcoran Lodge Hotel in Cahir at 7.30pm on Thursday in aid of St Theresa's Hospice in Clogheen nearby. Anyone with any friends in the area are urged to urge them to attend.
Moll went down so well with audiences that St John's had to put on an extra night on Friday. Louise Dillon shone in the lead role as cast and crew delivered an incredible production for a group so new to the stage. It goes to show that when it comes to drama, Listowel takes some beating!
