Don't forget that floats parade for St Patrick
Don't forget that floats and full blooded participation are needed as vital ingredients in the effort to keep the Castleisland St. Patrick's Day Parade at the height of the popularity it has enjoyed in recent years.
Volunteer, experienced stewards are also invited to lend their talents to the big event.
Musicians, entertainers as well as school bands and choirs are also in demand. The parade always starts around the 1pm mark with a gathering deadline of 12.30pm at the Tralee Road Industrial Estate.
However, we'll have exact locations and times in the coming issues.
Festival and Carnival
The official opening of the Castleisland Town Festival and Carnival will take place on Thursday evening, May 2nd at the purposely erected 'Festival Dome' at The Crageens at 7-30pm.
A packed programme of events will reveal itself over the following bank holiday weekend.
It will be backboned by the proverbial 'Something for Everyone' where street activity will combine with indoor events to ensure a weekend to remember.
A major fun-fair will set up in town for the duration of the weekend.
We'll fill you in on all the fun of the festival here next week.
