KERRY stalwarts Mick O'Dwyer and Dáithí Ó Sé took to the stage with an even more familiar face from Waterville for the launch of the 2014 Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival competition.
The duo led the call for entries to this year's competition and film makers both nationally and internationally have less than four months to get their creations to Waterville ahead of the closing date on June 6.
As usual this year's competition has a range of category to suit film makers of all ages and experience. They include: Irish Comedy, Photo Commentary, International Best Comedy, the Film School Award and the Under 18s Award.
This will be the fourth year of the annual Charlie Chaplin Comedy Festival which was launched in 2011 with the support of Josephine Chaplin.
This year's festival will run from Thursday August 21 to Sunday, August 24.
