Class of '93 take step back in time
PRESENTATION Secondary's Class of 1993 took a trip back in time at the weekend when they held their 20 year school reunion at Horan's Nightclub.
In all, 32 of the class's roughly 60 students, many of whom are now scattered across Ireland and the UK, made it back to Tralee for the event.
The longest journey home was made by two of the former classmates who both now live and work in London. The organisers joked that the London based pair may in fact have had an easier time getting back to the Kingdom than one of their fellow alumni who endured a tough trip as she travelled to Tralee from Donegal through some truly awful winter weather.
The event was organised by Caroline Coridan, Carol Anne Ross, Deirdre Lyons and Sarah Tobin who spent months tracing and making contact with their former classmates.
While they mainly used social media they did also resort to some more traditional methods including writing to some of their old classmates' parents.
The reunion took place at the Members Bar at Horans Nightclub with the DJ spinning a selection of early nineties classic tunes and keeping the dancefloor packed well into the small hours.
A great night was had by all.
