The audience will be treated to all the old Christmas favourites such as: Silent Night, Ding Dong Merrily On High and Away in a Manger. There will be some solo performances also along with poetry and readings with a Christmas theme.

The choir will be accompanied by Illumina - the musicians they performed with recently at the Aine Nic Gabhann Concert at the INEC in Killarney.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported us at that concert. It was a fantastic occasion and the choir received great praise for their efforts. It was a fantastic experience for the choir and they enjoyed every moment.

"We are now looking forward to our Christmas carol concert and to Christmas Eve Mass at 7pm, which will be broadcast on Radio Kerry," said choir director, Ailish Walsh.

Tickets for the concert cost €5 and are available from choir members, the parish office, Griffin's Upper Main St. and Herlihy's. Donations can also be made at the door on the night.
