AUTOGRAPH hunting is always a huge part of the Rose of Tralee with younger festival goers doing their all to get as many Rose's signatures as humanly possible.

According to the Rose of Tralee press office, every Rose signs about 100 autographs a day during the festival and one of the busiest days for autograph hunters came on Saturday when the Roses visited various bars around town to meet their fans.

Special autograph signing sessions were organised at the Imperial Hotel, The Grand Hotel and the Brogue Inn. The Imperial hosted the American and Canadian Roses while The Grand welcomed Irish, British and European Roses.

One of the busiest signing events took place at the newly reopened Brogue Inn on Rock Street, which is quickly regaining its reputation as a festival hot spot, where a huge crowd was on hand to meet and greet the Roses from Australia New Zealand and the UAE.

Later on Saturday the Roses met even more autograph hunters and festival fans when they visited the 21 pubs and bars that their respective Rose centre had been twinned with for the course of the festival.
