ARE YOU over 18, out of work and love football? Would you like join a course which combines getting education awards with football coaching awards and work placements? Then a new initiative beginning in September in Enniscorthy could be for you.

The F.A.I., Wexford County Council and Wexford V.E.C. have teamed up to provide a unique opportunity for people who are unemployed and out of formal education to get involved in an innovative project to help them back into the workforce. It's a welcome addition to the landscape in Wexford at a time when the effects of a recession are becoming increasingly obvious.

Project Futsal is a joint initiative between the Football Association of Ireland (F.A.I.) and the Welsh Football Trust (W.F.T.) with the core aim of using football as a social inclusion tool.

The first courses begin in September and if you're interested, you can apply now at www.projectfutsal.ie
