The tournament was organised by Brendan Earle and despite the poor turn-out there was good throwing.

There's a County Board meeting this Wednesday (September 12) in Ferns at 8 p.m., and there's a H.P.A.I. meeting in Carlow on the following Wednesday (September 19).

All clubs with nominee papers for the person of the year should submit them at the meeting on Wednesday. There will be an open doubles tournment in Carnew on Sunday next in conjunction with the heritage field day.
