Graham Whitmore from Gorey had a very good weekend recently in Mondello for the masters on his new Kawasaki Zx6r 600cc machine.

After moving up in class from the 400s, he had two fifth places and an eighth.

Kevin Dempsey has also moved up in class to a 1,000cc bike and has yet to start his season off due to lack of funds but is hoping to make it at some stage for the 2017 season.

Graham Kennedy had a great outing at the Skerries 100 where he had two rides. First on board the 600cc and also on his BMW 1,000cc, he finished a fantastic eighth place against some top teams. Graham's next test was travelling to Walderstown road races.

A new team to keep an eye on for the 2017 season is the sidecar outfit of Mark Codd (driver) and Liam Gordon (passenger) who have a new Sidecar set-up and are already making good progress with some good finishes in the Mondello Masters this year.

They look to be a future winning team as the season progresses and they gain experience.

Another local, Simon Mythen, is also passenger in a talented sidecar team

The outfit is beautifully turned out and can expect some good results during the 2017 season.
