Sentencing adjourned in Bree man's cannabis case

A Bree man who pleaded guilty to three drug-related offences has had his sentencing adjourned.

John Reilly, of Ballybrennan, Bree, Enniscorthy, came before Judge Sean O Donnabhain at Wexford Circuit Criminal Court.

He pleaded guilty to charges of possession of cannabis, possession for the purpose of selling or supplying, and the cultivation of cannabis plants at Ballybrennan, Bree on March 24, 2015.

Defence Counsel Karl Monahan applied for an adjournment to allow time for the preparation of a Probation and Welfare report.

Judge O'Donnabhain remanded the defendant on continuing bail to appear before court on April 25 next.
