The state of County Wexford's rural roads is among the top complaints received by councillors. 'You'd be savaged now in relation to roads. It's the one big issue affecting everyone,' said Cllr Padge Reck.
The issue was raised by Cllr Michael Kinsella, who said the Council is not even near to addressing it. 'My constituents are not going to put up with it anymore,' he said. Cllr Kinsella asked for the setting up of a cross-party committee to bring a a case to the Minister for Transport.
He called on Wexford's five TDs to support a campaign for additional funding. 'We've been talking about this for far too long,' he said.
