He was selected to appear on this year's An Post calendar which has the theme of 'An Post people playing their part.' Postal workers across the country are featured taking part in a wide variety of activities in their local community.

Brian is a respected World War I historian, and a re-enactor, and he features in his World War I Irish Guards military uniform on the page for November. However, the main picture shows him at work, delivering post to the pupils of Ballycanew National School. Formerly from McCurtain Street, he now lives in the Ballycanew area which is also his delivery area.

The calendar was sent to staff of An Post, former staff, and is also available in Post Offices.
