Petrol station finally gets go-ahead
Planning difficulties surrounding the half-finished petrol station beside the Donohoe Motors complex at Blackstoops have been ironed out.
The company has been granted planning permission to retain and complete the development on the outskirts of Enniscorthy.
However, the go-ahead from Wexford County Council is hedged with conditions. The development was covered by permission granted in 2008 but retention was refused last year after the site had lain idle for a considerable time.
Now the way has been cleared for resumption of the project by Donohoe's as the latest extension of their Quarrypark operation.
However, signage, public lighting and road markings will all have to be agreed in consultation with the council roads engineer.
