Owen Kinsella is laid to rest

THE GRIEF STRICKEN Kinsella family paid their last respects on Monday to the late Owen Kinsella was brought home to Enniscorthy after his death in England eight days earlier. The funeral Mass for the 33-year-old drew a large congregation to St. Aidan's cathedral to sympathise with parents Billy and Betsy from Meadowlands.
Celebrating the Mass, cathedral curate Father Richard Lawless recalled that Owen was a member of St. Patrick's boxing club during his younger days.
Police in West Yorkshire have confirmed that two people were arrested on the evening prior to the death of Owen Kinsella after he was involved in an assault close to a branch of McDonald's in the centre of Leeds. The pair, aged 29 and 24, were released on bail after questioning. According to a statement issued by the force: 'Following the post mortem, officers do not believe there is any link between the death and the prior assault.'
