Man died in fall

A VERDICT of accidental death was returned last week on 82-year-old Ted Kelly from Clologue near Camolin, who died tragically when falling through the roof of a shed on his farm.
The coroner's inquest into the tragedy which occurred on December 23 last year was re-convened last week at the Presentation Centre in Enniscorthy.
Coroner Doctor Seán Nixon called the son of the deceased, Edward Kelly, to confirm the statement given to Gardaí after the accident. Father and son were both on the roof of the shed when the younger noticed his parent take a stride and then fall.
Mr Kelly died later in hospital.
