Jobs boost at Datapac
FIFTEEN new jobs are on the way at Enniscorthy firm Datapac after the signing of a €11m contract with the Office of Government Procurement.
The company, which also has offices in Dublin and Belfast, has agreed a two-year deal with the OGP, with the option of a 12-month extension.
The new posts will be created across the three offices, with 10 additional staff taken on this year and a further five due to join Datapac next year. According to a spokesman the jobs will be in logistics (including administration and warehouse management) and business development (including sales and marketing). With the help of Datapac, the OGP expects to make savings on its bills for running computer systems.
