THE TEAM at Doyle's Londis Gorey have something to shout about these days, as they were proud winners of a Gold Award at the Londis Retailing Excellence Awards 2012 recently.
In winning this award, Doyle's Londis on the Carnew Road was independently audited across a range of criteria including the emphasis placed on customer care, the quality of their fresh food offering, the depth and breadth of their product range, and the store's commitment to upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.
A further five Wexford Londis Stores, namely Corrigan's, Oulart; Hanrahan's, the Faythe; Martin's, Enniscorthy; Hanrahan's, Piercetown; and Dillon's, Fethard-on-Sea were also honoured with this Gold accolade.
Meanwhile, Corrigan's in Kilmuckridge; Canavan's in Inch; and Boggan's in Rosslare, were each presented with Silver Awards while O'Shea's of Campile went home with Bronze. Canavan's Londis Inch received extra recognition, scooping the specialist Award in the Food and Safety Category to complement its Silver accolade.
This year's Awards were announced at the Group's Annual Conference held at The Malton Hotel in Killarney.
