Science lecture

COMPILED BY FINTAN LAMBE

Published 15/01/2013 | 09:53

LEARN more about the planet Jupiter, and look for it in the sky. On Tuesday, January 29, at 7.30 p.m., the science series of lectures given by Brendan Wallace returns to Gorey Library.

Weather permitting, we will look at the workings of a telescope and view Jupiter, the cloud belts and identify the moons. With luck all four will be on view.

If the weather is unsuitable we will defer this lecture to February and examine Exoplanets first. Join us and discuss. All are welcome. Suitable for ages 12 upwards.
