GOREY Little Theatre plays host to the Gorey One Act Drama Festival next week. The shows run nightly at 8 p.m. apart from the first night, Thursday, November 15, when the proceedings begin at 7 p.m.
Several short and varied plays are on the line-up over the three nights, and are as follows: Thursday, November 15: Take Five Drama Group presents 'Laundry and Bourbon' by James McLure; Bradan Players present 'Some Kind of Love' by Arthur Miller; Camross Drama Group presents 'Billy the Member' by Des Waters; and Gorey Drama Group presents 'It all Leads to the Lemon Scene' by Pamela Winfrey.
Friday, November 16: Coolgreany Amateur Dramatic Society presents 'The Trail' by Anthony Booth; New Heritage Theatre Group presents 'I Dreamed Before I Take the Stand' by Arlene Hutton; and Skerries Drama Group presents 'Holy Mary' by Eoin Colfer.
Saturday, November 17: Ballally Players presents 'Afterplay' by Brian Friel; Blue Hat Drama Group presents 'Workers Wishes'; and Ballyduff Drama Group presents 'One for the Road' by Harold Pinter.
