The fun event is being run in aid of Share a Dream which has been making dreams come true for very sick and disabled children for the past 23 years.

The Family Fun Day for runners and walkers will offer laughter, new friendships, and quality time with family and friends.

Camolin man Shay Kinsella, who founded Share a Dream, is encouraging everyone to turn out on the day and reach out a hand of love and friendship to hundreds of very sick children across Ireland, who have suffered so much pain, heartache, loneliness, and fear in their short but traumatic young lives.

A 5km run for adults takes place on Sunday, October 27, at 1 p.m., while a 1.5km fun run or walk for children, plus all the entertainment, takes place around the grounds of The Amber Springs Hotel for all the children, followed by a concert, disco, Zumba dancing, and best costume competition.

Funds will be raised for Share a Dream.

A special group will be hosting this mega children's concert and Hallowe'en Party. All children must register to gain entry to the day.

Register for your sponsor pack and details by logging onto www.shareadream.ie or call 061 200080 or 061 200083 for more details.
