G.A.A. NOTES

The Intermediate Footballers and Minor Hurlers were both narrowly beaten in their county semi-finals recently, losing out to St. Fintans and Duffry Rovers. Well done to all who put in a big effort and with a little more luck they both can make the breakthrough next year.

Well done to the Intermediate Hurlers on their excellent win over Buffers Alley on Saturday. They now play Gorey in the county final on Saturday, 6th October in Wexford park at 3.30p.m. Good work from the players and management on their achievements so far and lets hope they can win on the day.

Congratulations to the County Camogie on winning the All-Ireland and 3 in a row and to the local connections J.J. Doyle and Tommy Roche, it was a fantastic game and a huge achievement for all involved.

Please Note that Marshalstown/Castledockrell G.A.A. lotto draw will be changing to Thursday nights from 4th October with the draw being held during the bingo in Marshalstown Community Centre.
