CLASSIC stories will be re-examined in a new literature course for adults at Gorey Library.

The course will challenge readers to look at books, categorized nowadays as 'children's literature', and to re-examine them from an adult perspective. The course runs from February to May and is being led by tutor Ciara Murphy. Bookings are being accepted at the library now. Attendance is free, and 25 places are available.

Authors being examined include JK Rowling, William Blake, the Grimm Brothers and Lewis Carroll, among others.

The course programme is available from Gorey library and from the library's website at www.wexford.ie/library.
