THREE students at Gorey Community School, who showed a flair for computational thinking in the online Beaver Computing Challenge, were recently presented with certificates.
Fifth Year student Conor Beirne and Transition Year student Oisin Dunbar were both awarded silver in the Challenge while Cathal Murphy achieved bronze.
The competition involved problem solving using computational thinking skills which software engineers use to write programmes and applications. The online competition, facilitated by Gorey Community School, involved answering multiple choice questions.
