Arianna and Nathan Lazenby, grandchildren of the late Neville Lazenby of Barnadown, Tinahely, presented the Lifeboat crew and fundraising committee members, with a cheque for €1,182.

The family sent a heartfelt thank you to all who donated to the charity in lieu of sending flowers.

Neville Lazenby grew up in the Castletown area and loved the sea, so his family decided to invite donations for the local Lifeboat service in his memory.

His grandchildren and other family members, paid a visit to the Lifeboat House to hand over the money, and were shown around the Station by the Lifeboat crew and other volunteers.
