HISTORY WAS achieved recently, when Naomh Eanna became the first club ever to go on to achieve a county championship double after already winning a Féile double earlier in the year.
The Naomh Eanna Under 14 squad of hurlers and footballers placed themselves firmly in the annals of GAA history after a remarkable year of sporting success. The A and B teams have been intensively trained by Tony Molloy and former Wexford hurler Ger Cushe.
Earlier in the year, both of the County Feile competitions were won by the squad of budding stars. Their success didn't end there as the football team claimed All Ireland glory in Laois and the hurlers were narrowly defeated and eliminated by eventual winners St Brigid's of Dublin.
