Barnadown borehole to be upgraded
Irish Water has been given the go-ahead by Wexford County Council for upgrade work at the borehole site at Barnadown Upper, Gorey.
The planned works include the removal of existing fencing; the installation of new 2.4 metre high mesh panel type fencing and a gate; and improvements to the vehicular access surfacing.
The plan also involves upgrades to well-head chambers; the decommissioning of the existing treatment works; upgrades to meica equipment; and associated ancillary works.
