Advice on forestry

TEAGASC, the farm advisory service, is running a series of forestry advisory clinic for landholders who are considering tree planting or who already have commercial forestry.

The service has been promoting such enterprise as a way of earning income and, in many cases, laying down a retirement fund.

The County Wexford clinic is set for the Teagasc office beside the Old Dublin Road in Enniscorthy on Tuesday, January 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the number to contact for details is (053)9239210. It is also possible to book one-to-one appointments with forestry development officers.
