Oceo was shortlisted in the 'Best Spa' category in the Hotel and Catering Review Gold Medal Awards, and beat off stiff competition from ten category finalists to pick up the 2013 award at the final in The Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Dublin, recently.

Judging was conducted by an independent panel of experts and every spa on the shortlist was visited by a mystery shopper to ensure an unbiased approach and fairness at all stages.

This annual event recognises those who make a real stand out contribution to the industry and Seafield's Oceo Spa was ranked number one in its category. The rigorous judging process began last June, starting with an application process examining all areas of the business. Oceo Spa was then shortlisted as one of ten finalists for the award and received a visit from a mystery shopper.

Marion Hayden, Spa Manager at Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel said they were thrilled to win this prestigious award. 'It demonstrates the talent and commitment of the team at Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel,' she said.
