Alphabetically, songs 'worst ever' polls just love to hate.

Agadoo Black Lace (1984)

Yorkshire band's holiday hit blacklisted by the BBC because it wasn't 'credible'. Voted worst song ever in a Q Magazine poll in 2003 and ranked worst song in history in The Guardian in 2009

Chinese Food Alison Gold (2013)

Second most hated song of the internet age - from the same people behind 'Friday' (see below). 'It could be the most annoying song ever,' said the Los Angeles Times. 'It's hard to imagine music sinking any lower than this,' said the New York Post.

Friday Rebecca Black (2011)

The most hated song of the internet age - whether for the auto-tuned performance, terrible lyrics or dreadful video which once had over 3 million 'dislikes' on Youtube, accounting for 87% of its total ratings.

Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da The Beatles (1968)

Not their finest moment. Voted worst song of all time in an online poll commissioned by Mars in 2004. John Lennon apparently loathed it.

The Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) The Cheeky Girls (2002)

Voted worst pop record in a Channel 4 poll in 2004, despite selling almost a million. No accounting for taste then.

The Millennium Prayer Cliff Richard (1999)

This song set the words of the Lord's Prayer to the tune of 'Auld Lang Syne' and - despite many radio stations refusing to play it - reached number one. A 2004 VH1 poll labelled it worst No. 1 record of all time. It also reached No. 2 in a similar poll run by Channel 4.

Who Let The Dogs Out? Baha Men (2000)

The 4th biggest selling single of 2000 in the UK, but Spinnner's 'worst song ever' in 2008, and third in Rolling Stone's 20 most annoying songs poll.
