Bhuamar an Rince Foirne, Amhránaíocht Aonair agus an Tráth na gCeist. Ní raibh an t-ádh céanna ag an Grúpa Bailéad nó an Grúpa Uirlise. Mí-ádh! Ach mar sólás fuaireamar an duais "Club an Bliain" in ómós don sárobair a rinneamar i mbliana. Bhí na rannpháirthe ag cleachtadh go dian le míosa anuas agus bhí sé soléir dúinn go raibh seans maith againn. Anois, rachaidh ár mbuaiteoirí ar aghaidh go dtí an comórtas leath ceannais Laighean i gContae Laois ar an 15U Nollaig . Ní bheidh said ag dul mar Fine Ghallainn ach beidh said ann ar son contae Átha Claith. Beirigí bua! Fantastic week for our 'Scór na nÓg' team who won three sections at the Dublin county final. We won the Céilí dancing, solo singing and quiz. Our Ballad group and Instrumental group were not as lucky. Hard luck!
But as a consolation, we were awarded the 'Club na Bliain' award in recognition of the great work done during the year. The participants were practicing hard for months and it was clear to us that we had a good chance. Now our winners will go on to the Leinster semi-finals in County Laois on 15th December. They won't be going as Fingallians but as the Dublin county team. Best of luck! Fingallians extends deepest sympathy to the Kane family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hAnam dilís.
