Well done to Lauran Campbell on being named the U-13 Dublin Camogie Player of the Year during the week. She collected her honour on Sunday evening. This is the 30th anniversary year of the foundation of our club and there will be a number of events organised during the year to celebrate this. The first event will be the Mock Wedding on Saturday 16th February. This event will also be our event for The Gathering 2013, so why not invite family and friends to the event. As a mark of respect to Ciara and the family of our beloved member and great friend Robbie Delves, we are suspending our club notes this week. St Maurs GAA Club wish to express its sincerest and deepest sympathies to Ciara and family on the tragic and sudden death of Robbie. The news of Robbie's passing has rocked both the club and the wider community to its core as it struggles to try to come to terms with the entire enormity of the tragedy and loss of a member integral to all aspects of our club. St Maurs also wish to offer its sympathies to the family of Charlie Armstrong, a former St Maurs player and current chairman of Rush Athletic, whose passing was received with great sadness in the club.
