Lusk triumph with 10 men

TEN-MAN Lusk United battled hard to gain a well deserved threegoal home win over Brookfield Celtic in this AUL Division 3A opener played last Saturday. Goals from brothers Adam and Ian McNaney took the points, with the latter keeping the match ball as he completed a hat-trick.

Lusk were reduced to 10 men after 15 minutes and then went 1-0 down, but with the odds stacked against them they produced a great team performance, the turning point being a penalty save from keeper Shane Crosbie when the score was still at 1-0.
