Killegland call for FARE play
KILLEGLAND AFC Under-13s recently demonstrated their support for the pan-European Football against Racism in Europe Week campaign.
FARE Week is organised by the Football against Racism in Europe Network which is a community partner of Uefa. Using football as a tool to make a stand against racism, to celebrate diversity and promote interaction between people from all communities, backgrounds and cultures, has benefits for the football community and society as a whole.
Killegland AFC took a huge step towards supporting and promoting this campaign, by having a new set of jerseys designed with the Unite against Racism logo on the front, and this is being seen as a fantastic initiative by the local community club, which is based in Ashbourne, south Meath.
