Jamie answers the Caul

United are through to the third round of the O'Neills Leinster Junior Shield after scoring when down to 10 men to beat Swords Celtic away from home.

It was a hard-fought contest throughout, with neither side having many chances, but early in the second half Lusk keeper Shane Crosbie pulled off a onehanded save to deny the hosts. Shortly after the introduction of Ian McNaney for Kevin Brogan, Gerry Russell was sent off for a mis-timed challenge and the visitors played out the remaining 25 minutes with 10 men. However, Lusk held firm before stunning Swords when they won a last-minute penalty after John Walsh was taken down. Jamie Caul then emerged as the Lusk hero as he held his nerve to score from the spot, while Niall McGuirk gave a manof-the-match display.
