POTENTIAL DUBLIN stars of the future were lauded for their efforts at the annual Skerries Harps prizegiving.
The juvenile section, which consists of 42 teams from the camogie, ladies football, hurling and boys football codes, held the evening of celebration at the community centre, which was was packed to the rafters with players, parents and Club supporters.
Player of the year awards were handed out to well deserved recipients from all the codes, which is always a great honour to the players and their families. Each and every child got goodies including Christmas selection boxes ensuring everyone went home happy.
Our main juvenile sponsors, Stacks Pharmacy and Moriarty's Super Valu, were on hand to share in the celebration and award ceremony. Guests of honour on the night were Eve Kehoe and Tara O'Flaherty, the Harps duo who won u16 All- Ireland Camogie medals this year with Dublin. A presentation of specially commissioned canvas photographs were made to the girls by Pat Delaney, Juvenile Chairman, on behalf of the Club. A special thank you to the group of Harps volunteers who made this huge event such a success again.
