KINSEALY Boys proved too strong for Portmarnock in aone-sided U-11 clash on Saturday.Both sides were really up for the match and it started well with Kinsealy pushing hard and pressing the Portmarnock defence to the limit. Their hard work paid off in the fifth minute with a super strike from Alex Chuks. Portmarnock pressed forward and were unlucky not to be on level terms when they struck the crossbar, but Kinsealy counter attacked and made it 2-0 with a goal from Ben Moran. Kinsealy continued to control the game and with four minutes to half time winger Adam Brant crossed the ball into the Portmarnock box were Mathew Egan struck with a sweet shot to the bottom right corner, making it 3-0. The second half started better for Portmarnock with some great play and passing and in the opening minutes they struck back to make it 3-1. However, Kinsealy weren't finished yet and replied with another two goals in as many minutes making it 5-1, Portmarnock just couldn't break down the Kinsealy defence and as the game entered its final minutes Tolani Shoubi struck for Kinsealy to make it 6-1. Portmarnock battled bravely but it was not going to be their day and Kinsealy were delighted with their preformance and the win.
