WITH the racing season just finished the 'Crazy Season' has just got under way, with rumours linking different riders with different teams.
Normally I don't put any pass on this carry-on, but the latest one that I feel has some credibility is the one concerning Michael Dunlop. It surrounds the possibility that Mickey D will race for the Honda TT Legends team at the 'Big Three'. This could be the stepping stone that the 22-year-old Ballymoney rider could be waiting for, and the three-time TT winner would have some very competitive machinery for the race that he really wants to win, and that is a 'Big Bike TT'.
Dunlop ran his own team this year, and while he had success at the TT as well as the Ulster Grand Prix, coupled with numerous wins on the local scene, this would make a huge difference with the cost of running a team, and also provide him with the best machinery available for the TT, where he would have John McGuinness as his teammate, should the rumours come to fruition.
