Although again missing Dublin defender Darren Daly, Ravens put in another good display, with underage talent Adam Lawless putting in a strong display at centre back.

The visitors were to strike for their first goal mid-way through the first half when Eoin O'Flaherty, having run from midfield, finished off a fine combination move involving Ian Kavanagh, Niall Tormey and Derek Daly.

The second half saw the home side come at Ravens in the early stages, but off a counter attack Ravens struck for their second goal on 38 minutes.

Tormey found Daly with a terrific 60-yard pass with the outside of his boot and Daly duly dispatched the ball past the keeper to put Ravens up by six points.

Ravens added two more points to extend their lead to eight before Towers countered with a late goal.

FINGAL RAVENS: Derek Daly 1-3, Niall Tormey 0-3, Eoin O'Flaherty 1-0, Ian Kavanagh, Luke Griffin, Alan Casey 0-1 each.
