Hunt begins in earnest for new county ladies manager

THE Dublin Ladies County Board are seeking applications from suitable candidates for the positions of Senior and Under-21 team managers.

A proved track record with club and/or county teams in required and all candidates must complete in full an application form which will be forward on request by emailing info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie.

Completed application forms must be returned by 5pm this Friday at the latest to Mary O'Connor, Secretary, Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football, by post to Le Cheile Donnycarney Community Centre, Donnycarney, Dublin 5 or by emailing info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie.

The Annual Convention of Dublin LGFA took place last Saturday the following were elected to serve on the Executive Committee for the coming year:

Chairperson - Joe Keane (Clann Mhuire), Vice Chairperson - Paul McLoughlin (Raheny), Secretary - Mary O'Connor (St Brigids), Assistant Secretary - Kathleen Colreavy (Naomh Mearnog), Treasurer - Siobhan Walsh (Naomh Mearnog), Registrar - Camillus Kilpatrick (Naomh Olaf), Culture and Language Officer - Eugene Egan (Cuala), PRO - Patricia Monahan (St Monica's), Children's Officer - Bernice Jones Moore (Man O War), Leinster Council delegate - David McCabe (Round Towers, Clondalkin), Leinster Council delegate – Finbarr O'Driscoll (Naomh Olaf), Central Council delegate - Eugene Egan (Cuala).

A meeting of the Dublin LGFA will take place on Tuesday December 10th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park. This meeting will conclude the unfinished business of the agm as well as dealing with monthly County Board business. Clubs are requested to have a least one delegate in attendance at the meeting.
