Skerries Harps 0-20

St Kevins 1-4

SKERRIES Harps remain well in contention for a promotion spot after a comprehensive win in Skerries on Sunday morning.

On the day Barry Grimes showed his adaptability and having moved from corner forward to centre forward, he sent over a free which did wonders for his confidence.

David Kelly also did well at full forward scoring four points, while the presence of minors Robbie Carroll and Jack Carroll in the full back line is a reminder of the good work being done at underage level.

Kevins, while languishing in the nether regions of the table, presented their fair share of problems in the early stages.

Indeed Skerries had just three points to spare at half time but with Rory Noonan, Ross McGarry, Ian Furlong and Eoin McGinley giving the home side a good presence down the middle, Skerries dominated after the break.
