The series, that has helped bring thousands of young people onto the stage to perform, ended with a showcase, attended by the likes of TV3's Glenda Gilson, and how impressed she was at the end!

The 24 acts performing showed a professionalism beyond their years with some almost ready for stardom.

The Fingal crew were awesome with Hannah Hawkshaw from Balbriggan performing her own song 'Beautiful' and now very much a new pop sensation in waiting.

Aebh Kelly from Skerries is an immense talent and she perfomed in Italian, her operatic range bringing the house down.

Adam and Matthew from Ardgillan College performed their own catchy song 'Let me be free' – you'll hear more from them, while Samuel Earlwood from Portmarnock, now in Kylemore College performed his song 'Catch their eye' – again a hugely impressive number.

Eva Campbell from Skerries showed how unique she is with a stunning performance of 'Royals'.

Saoirse Kavanagh closed the night with her version of 'Clown' – better than the original – while Amie Dyer had the power of a Kate Bush with 'Bring me to Life'. Calum Agnew from Duleek will be a songwriting master (Bressie loves him), Leah Corcoran hit all the notes with 'I will always love you' - if ever there is a star she's it.

Rap star Gareth Nomayo, Ronan McKenna, Five Foot Nothing, Finn Fitzgerald, the powerful Bethany Conlon, Simon O'Driscoll and his own song 'Back to When' were totally original, Jack and Polly (what a voice!) the stunning Grace Willis from Ardcath, note perfect Lauren Meegan, Athboy's Luke O'Toole were just some of the others to show off their amazing talents.

The performers on the night were: Ronan McKenna, Lauren Meegan, Laura Rice, Gareth Nomayo, Luke O Toole, JPM2, Calum Agnew, Finn Fitzgerald, Eva Campbell, Hannah Hawkshaw, Rhiannon Coleman, Bethany Conlon, Saoirse Kavanagh, Amie Dyer, Five Foot Nothing, Simon O' Driscoll, Grace Willis, Sharon McCluskey, Leah Corcoran, Aebh Kelly, Greenhills Choir, Indecision, Samuel Earlwood, Adam & Matthew.
